Pattern Biosciences

About the Company
Do you want to be at the forefront of a revolution in healthcare? At Pattern, we build DNA computers that run molecular programs in cells to treat cancer and other diseases. Using multi-input molecular-level computation in individual cells, our approach leads to curative therapies where the conventional one drug-one target paradigm has failed. Pattern is building a world-class team to translate two decades of progress in DNA computing and synthetic biology into the clinic.
About the Role
Are you passionate about working with cutting-edge technologies to develop next generation therapies? You will advance the early pipeline of innovative cancer therapies harnessing our biomolecular computing platform. You will plan, build, and validate a “human in a dish” platform to ensure translational relevance of our preclinical development pipeline. You will select and establish ex vivo and in vitro models, including patient-derived samples, tumor organoids, primary cells, organs-on-chips, etc., to “debug” and fine-tune our molecular programs in a setting that is as close as possible to the patient. To do that, you will create and implement functional multi-omics workflows to profile these disease models using bulk and single cell genomics technologies. You will characterize synthetic genetic components and their combinations in the context of these models to anticipate their function in patients.
